Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location, location, location - stunning location and view from the cottage - halfway between the airport and Torshavn - quiet and peaceful rural surroundings (it's an uphill walk from the car park though, just be aware)

Negative: Run down and in need of a deep clean - if something is broken, fix it or bin it! (lamp in bedroom, coat hooks, kettle with age-old rust at the bottom, windows fused together with their frames, etc) - if something is filthy, chuck it in the washing machine (shower curtain growing mould, random hairs and stains on sheets and pillow cases, etc) - get the boiler checked out as the metal casing makes an almighty noise when it is on

Summary: Great views but extremely poor value for money
